Dear Friend, yesterday morning around 8:30 a.m., Hurricane Helene hit our beautiful mountains with a ferocity unmatched by any storm in our district’s history.

U.S. Congressman Chuck Edwards (NC-11) today announced that the National Park Service has awarded a competitive grant of nearly $4.5 million dollars toward land acquisition on Deaverview Mountain in Buncombe County for a future public park.
