The new clinic would create 20,000 square feet of patient care areas as well as lab and radiology services. This funding would also allow EWCH to establish a cardiac catheterization lab at the hospital.

The Town uses a functionally obsolescent volunteer fire station to house a full-time fire battalion. The bunk rooms are not ADA-accessible, and the bays cannot accommodate modern fire apparatus.

Additionally, the funding will be used to purchase essential utility equipment, including an aluminum trench box to ensure worker safety, CCTV sewer inspection equipment to maintain compliance and detect issues early, a sewer jetter for clearing blockages, and a large portable generator to provide backup power to wells and booster stations during outages. These investments are vital to protecting the health and well-being of Elk Park’s residents and ensuring long-term infrastructure resilience.
