Edwards sworn in for second term as WNC continues to recover from Helene

U.S. Congressman Chuck Edwards (NC-11) issued the following statement after being sworn in for his second term serving North Carolina’s 11th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Western North Carolinians’ lives were turned upside down with Hurricane Helene and securing disaster funding to help our mountain communities rebuild was an important first step in the recovery process.

“We have a long road to rebuilding our lives ahead, and I’m honored to be entrusted with serving the resilient people of Western North Carolina through this critical time as we enter our next phase of recovery.

“From my positions on the House Appropriations and Budget committees, I’m committed to prioritizing the needs of WNC every step of the way and fixing how Washington works.”
