“One of the most important duties representing the 11th district of North Carolina is selecting nominees among those who are seeking appointments to our nation’s military service academies. These WNC students who have been accepted into the service academies stood out and were selected after a rigorous and competitive application process,” said Edwards. “I extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to these future leaders whose patriotism and strong work ethic represent the best of America.”

Edwards hosted an event at his Hendersonville district office on May 10 to celebrate those who accepted nominations to their respective service academies and provided an opportunity for constituents to learn about the service academy nomination process.
